Location: Sint-Laurentiusstraat z/n, 3300 Goetsenhoven
Opening hours: /
Tall west tower, flanked to the southeast by a small tower, three-aisled nave of six bays (side aisles unevenly extended to the west during restoration), transept and five-sided choir supported by buttresses. In the southeast, a modern sacristy. Strong late Romanesque tower (circa 1200) on a square plan, built of quartzite from Overlaar; the highest floor features bell openings with roll edges; the ground floor, connected to the nave, later vaulted with a Gothic arch. Romanesque side aisles from the 12th century, featuring pillars with profiled imposts; support walls of soft tuff stone. The central nave is covered with a flat ceiling rhythmically marked by poorly restored beam ends. Non-protruding Gothic transept, apparently built simultaneously with the choir. Bright choir made of sandstone in Brabantine Gothic style (15th century). Completely renovated during restoration.
