The Sint-Amanduskerk is the parish church of Moortsele, which belongs to the East Flemish municipality of Oosterzele, located on Sint-Antoniusplein 8.In 1126 a church in Moortsele was first mentioned. The patronage right of this church then passed to the Abbey of Ename. In the 13th century the church was replaced by a cross church with three-sided closed choir. This church was built in Balegem stone. The chancel and the south transept arm are still from this period.
