St. Margaret's Church, also known as the Beguinage Church, is a church in the Belgian city of Lier in the province of Antwerp. It is part of the Beguinage of Lier. The church is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The three-nave St. Margaret's Church is dedicated to Margaret of Antioch, the patron saint of the Beguinage of Lier. The construction of the church began in 1664 and lasted more than 100 years, as the Beguines financed the church themselves. This long construction period is visible on the façade. The church has a Baroque façade from the 17th century, over which volutes and a lantern were placed in the 18th century. The interior is Baroque, the bell tower belongs to the Rococo period. The first part of the church was consecrated in 1671. Stations of the Cross are scattered throughout the Beguinage, and the altarpiece Apparition of the Virgin Mary can also be found in the church.
