One of the most remarkable facades on the Grote Markt is that of the house 'D 'Eycken Boom'. This former chamber of rhetoric is first mentioned in 1440. After various modifications, it was rebuilt in 1709 in late Baroque style. The beautiful neck facade is vertically divided by Corinthian columns.
