Close to the town is a sturdy industrial building. It is the former Rigaux brewery and distillery. It was founded by Josse Rigaux in 1789. Until the beginning of the Second World War, beer was produced here. In 1883, the Rigaux family applied to the municipality to build a railway line from the brewery across the street to the warehouse across the street. On the track there were wagons that were pulled by horses. In the exclusively rural municipality of Bever, this 'iron road' was a sight to behold, so the brewery proudly depicted the railway on its invoices. Today, only industrial archaeology remains. Behind the wrought iron gate you can still see a remnant of the scaffolding mill. The mill burned down in 1901. Only the brick hull has been preserved to this day.
