The Rat Mill was founded before 1500. On the other bank was an oil mill. It disappeared around 1866. After a fire in 1875, the current building was erected. On February 17, 1994, the mill was protected as a monument and, together with its surroundings, as a village view. Almost nothing remains of the iron overshot wheel, but the building is still in fairly good condition. The interior has remained virtually intact, with three pairs of grinding stones.
