Where the water tower now stands on the hills of Sint-Lievens-Esse, there was once a beautiful stake mill. A little further on is cycle junction 33. Be sure to check out the Sint Lieven chapel next to the water ears. The water tower can be seen from the Kruiskoutermolen in Mere.
A little further at the church of Sint-Lievens-Esse, at junction 31, we find the regional beer brewery Van Den Bossche. Father Lieven and Buffalo are at home here.
