East-oriented pilgrimage chapel with lofty location on the south flank of the Kapelleberg, in the middle of a spacious and hedged lawn with some young linden trees to the north. No archival sources regarding origin, founders or other elements related to founding. Formerly only choir considered Romanesque (12th century ?). The latest restoration revealed that the single-aisled chapel with narrower rectangular choir structurally dates back entirely to the Romanesque period. Use of Tournai quarry stone, local sandstone with ironstone for the ascending masonry, among other construction traces, indicate this. Only archaeological and further architectural historical research can determine in which construction phases the chapel was created.
