We in the first kilometer of the Côte de Xhierfomont thinks that he is on the Alpe d'Huez bike has a point. Four beautiful hairpin bends follow each other in rapid succession. The ascent starts at the northern entrance to the Lienne valley. From Stoumont, follow the road towards Liernieux. In the hamlet of Xhierfomont it gets a little steeper. After a long bend through a forest you are almost at the top of the plateau. Under an even more beautiful view than before, you cycle the last few meters to the top.
