The Noremansberg was formerly known as Horemansberg. Here was once the parental home of Jean Baptiste Demecheleer (aka Tist Titjen), near the Raspaillebos, where Demecheleer practiced with hand grenades. There is evidence that he was the anonymous writer of several threatening letters and ultimately also admitted to a number of attacks with hand grenades.
He was the only one from The Gang sentenced to 5 years of confinement by the Brabant Assize Court in 1931.
