The Hof van Busleyden Museum is a museum in the Belgian city of Mechelen. The collection is housed in the city palace Hof van Busleyden. The concept of this project started in 2012 and led to the opening of the museum in March 2018.
The Hof van Busleyden Museum highlights Mechelen, its residents, and their activities during the Burgundian period, bridging the past and the present. Mechelen experienced its heyday when the city was the actual capital of Burgundy and Margarete of Austria resided in the Hof van Savoye. Hieronymus van Busleyden, who lived in this city palace, was a member of the Great Council of Mechelen, a diplomat, a humanist, a patron, and a collector.
