This building, in a sober Art Deco style, was completed in 1926 by architect Jean-Baptiste Dewin, on the order of the Belgian Red Cross. The building has been listed since 2006.
The composition of the building is sober and shows Jean-Baptiste Dewin's attention to detail, which is present throughout his work. The edifice is an integral part of Place Georges Brugmann and the neighborhood, which developed in the first half of the 20th century.
