"1. Leave the towpath behind you and head towards the observation cabin on the left: a first interpretative element is installed there. Then take the dolomite path that starts to the right of the communal area. Follow this path that runs alongside the cut and feel free to linger at the interpretative panels along the route. 2. You arrive at a concreted path. You have 2 options: 3. Either you take it to the left and go to the second observation point before returning on your steps and taking the concreted path back to the towpath. Once you reach the towpath, turn right and walk back to your starting point along the Escaut. 3 bis. Or you take it to the left for a brief moment before climbing the grassy path that rises on your right (it is arranged in terraces). 4. Walk along this path that you sense more than it is drawn: you are overlooking and have a superb view of the neighboring meadows that stretch to your left. 5. You arrive at a fork. Two options are again available to you: 5 bis. Either you take the right and follow the path that crosses a wooded area. Follow it to the towpath. Then turn right and take this towpath that runs along the Escaut back to your starting point. 6. Or you take the path arranged in terraces that descends to the left. Follow its course that runs alongside a meadow and borders a grove. You will cross a marker and pass into France... 7. Once you reach the edge of the water, turn right and follow the watercourse (be careful: the banks may be eroded in some places). 8. The path widens: you arrive at the towpath: turn right and follow the Escaut back to your starting point."
