Our transport generates a large CO2 emission. All our cars and trucks consume petroleum and thus contribute to further climate warming. This can only change if we choose more sustainable mobility: walking, cycling, taking the train... Not only in our leisure time but also for our daily commutes to work, school, the nearby store...
Just because you own a car doesn’t mean you have to use it for all your travels. You can also share a car or carpool.
Electric transport is part of the solution, at least if we manage to produce all the necessary electricity sustainably and at the same time opt for less individual car traffic. An electric bike makes it possible to cover significant distances with less physical effort.
For transport, more use can also be made of railways and canals.
