St-Coryn is a 17th-century estate situated amidst the fields and meadows in the territory of Reninge. The site consists of a main building, inhabited by the owners Frans and Mia Maes, and several outbuildings. One of these outbuildings is a cart shed from 1600 that has been completely renovated according to the original techniques of timber framing. The cart shed has been tastefully furnished into a compact, beautiful, and well-maintained holiday home. The entire property is set in a magnificent rural garden of 2 hectares.
From the walking map: Timber-framed cottage. This timber-framed cottage probably dates back to the 17th century. This construction method was particularly used in these regions in the 11th - 12th century.
