The history of this fisherman's chapel dates back to the beginning of the 18th century. From the very beginning, the chapel was a beloved pilgrimage site for Flemish fishermen. Many photos of boats were always hanging, often with the names and photos of the crew and the date of the shipwreck. Now flowers dominate, and numerous candles are lit each year in the brick cave next to the chapel. A pilgrimage takes place every year on the third Sunday of May. There is also an altar for holding open-air masses.
