‘De Steiger’ cultural centre is one of the oldest cultural centres in Flanders. It was opened in 1979 and renovated in 2004. With over 4000 activities a year it is also one of the most active cultural centres.
Here you can enjoy various exhibitions, concerts, film, theatre and street theatre. The municipal archives and the central library are also situated here.
