The “Protestant Chapel” sits on the Place du Musée, near the Palace of Charles de Lorraine.
Leopold I, first King of Belgium and nephew of Queen Victoria of England, was a protestant: he made it the Royal Chapel and attended services there. Under Leopold II, Saint-Jacques-sur-Coudenberg Church became the royal parish.
This chapel, officially called “Protestant Church of Brussels”, is a true wonder, a gem from the 18th century.

“The Chapel is very discrete but it is a high-place for musical culture. Sitting next to Charles de Lorraine’s statue, it regularly hosts concerts, including harpsichord and chamber music."
