The 'Maison de la Laine' (Wool House), the Tourist Wool and Fashion Center (CTLM) presents a discovery of the different stages in the process of making a wool blanket, through a route "Du Fil à la Mode" (From Thread to Fashion).
In the three-dimensional spaces, visitors can immerse themselves in the ambiance of the golden age of the wool industry, guided by an audio guide. One can view an astonishing collection of machines and tools, testifying to the history of Verviers.
The CTLM is housed in the beautifully renovated old manufacturing plant Dethier.
