The moulds for pipes
The making of these cast iron moulds.
First the lower framing is prepared. A wooden model and an iron frame are put on a board. This frame is filled with resinous sand and then overturned.
Then the upper framing is put on it and also filled with sand. Two openings are left to flow the cast iron. (in and out)
After that the 2 framings are separated to take out the wooden model.
Finally the 2 framings are assembled and the cast iron flows in through one opening until it comes out through the other. After cooling, half a mould can be taken out.
