Between Thuin and inland waterways, it is a long love story that dates back to time immemorial.
At the beginning of the 20th century, Thuin had more than 1100 heads of boatmen families out of a population of less than 5,000 inhabitants.
In front of such an important page of history, we offer you the opportunity to immerse yourself in the exciting world of inland waterways. The discovery will continue in the boatmen's district, typical free commune of the Rivage.
