Magnée is a village in the Belgian province of Liège and a district of Fléron. It lies just south of the center of Fléron and has grown together with Romsée, Fléron center, and Beyne-Heusay due to ribbon development and residential expansion. Until January 1, 1977, it was an independent municipality. Magnée originally formed part of the Carolingian Domain of Jupille, which was donated to the Bishop of Verdun in 1008. In 1266, it came under the Bishop's table of Liège.
