The Old Town of Dalhem, with its ancient houses and the remnants of the keep of the old fortified castle, is worth a visit. A very old staircase, called "Wichet de la Rose," is an ancient postern connecting the valley to the fortified castle. The church was built on the site of the old chapel of the castle. It was reconstructed in the 19th century, but the portal and the tower date back to 1714. Info: House of Tourism of the Lower Meuse - 04 374 85 55 - www.basse-meuse.be
