Sint-Antelinks is a village in the municipality of Herzele, in the Belgian province of East Flanders. The village has about 600 inhabitants and, with its 346 hectares, is the smallest borough of Herzele. The highest point is at 84 meters and the lowest point at 29 meters. The village is located in the Dender region.
In a deed from 966 the name Ramnesbecca, this is Ransbeek, appears for the first time. It is a very old place name of Germanic origin, created by the combination of raven and brook. The first member is not the well-known bird, but rather the Germanic personal name Raven. The form becca originated from Germanic baki, by the influence of the umlaut. This name can still be found today in the "Ransbeekstraat", "Hof te Ransbeke" and in the "Ransbeek" itself. It was not until 1299 that the village appeared under its current name.
