Ethe is a village in the municipality of Virton, in the Belgian province of Luxembourg. Ethe was an independent municipality until it was added to the municipality of Virton in the 1977 municipal reorganization.
At the beginning of the First World War on 23 August 1914, 218 civilians were killed by troops of the 46th, 47th, 50th and 6th infantry regiments of the German army. 256 houses were also destroyed.
