Dadizele is a village in the Belgian province of West Flanders and a part of Moorslede; it was an independent municipality until the municipal reorganization of 1977. It is a rural place that has been known primarily for the pilgrimage site since the 14th century. The Neo-Gothic basilica, which replaces the original late Gothic church, was built between 1860 and 1892 according to the plans of the English architect Edward Welby Pugin. There is limited industrial activity in Dadizele.
