Sippenaeken, also spelled Sippenaken in Dutch, is a village in the Belgian province of Liège and a district of Blieberg. The district, which also includes the hamlets of Beusdael, Terhaegen, and Terstraten, has approximately 200 inhabitants. Until the abolition of the Duchy of Limburg, Sippenaeken belonged to the Limburg high bank Montzen. Like the rest of the duchy, Sippenaeken was incorporated into the newly formed Ourthe department during the annexation of the Southern Netherlands by the French Republic in 1795.
