's-Gravenwezel is a village in the municipality of Schilde, in the Belgian province of Antwerp. 's-Gravenwezel was an independent municipality until the end of 1976. 's-Gravenwezel has an area of 14.95 km² and had 6358 inhabitants in 2006.
"Wesele", which should mean "forest near the meadows", was the original name of this borough. It was not until the course of the 14th century that people would start to speak more of "'s-Gravenwezel", because two lords, Janne and Woutere, who used the title of count, resided here and to further distinguish it from Wuustwezel. Locally, it is still referred to as "Weasel".
