Oordegem is a village in the Belgian province of East Flanders and a part of the municipality of Lede. The location lies in the Dender region.
The lordship of Oordegem was successively owned by the de Ordengem family, the Laval, Turpin, Mastaing, and the Vilain family until the end of the 18th century. Finally, it came into the hands of Duchess de Laragnais. The free lordship Hof ter Lichtervelde was owned by the de la Force family in 1544. Oordegem was the cantonal capital in 1801.
