Heusden is a locality in the Belgian province of Limburg and a district of Heusden-Zolder. Heusden has an area of 20.34 km² and had 15,536 inhabitants in 2006.
Heusden is located in the Kempen, 15 kilometers northwest of Hasselt. The village center is situated along the road from Lummen to Bree. The N72, the road from Hasselt to Beringen, passes west of the center. Heusden is located on the railway line from Hasselt to Mol, where it has a station. In the west of the district lies the Albert Canal. The Mangelbeek, which flows into the Demer, runs from east to west through Heusden.
