Borlon is a village in the Belgian province of Luxembourg and a district of the city of Durbuy. In Borlon is also the village of Oneux. When the municipalities were established, Borlon became a municipality, but it was already abolished by imperial decree in 1811 and merged with Bonsin. The place came with Bonsin into the arrondissement of Dinant, now in the province of Namur, but in the period 1820-1821, Borlon was separated again and reestablished as an independent municipality in the arrondissement of Marche-en-Famenne, in the province of Luxembourg. In 1826, Palenge and the municipality of Petite-Somme with its hamlet Septon were also attached. Palenge, Petite-Somme, and Septon were separated again in 1900 as the new municipality of Septon. In 1977, Borlon became a district of Durbuy.
