This robust brick chapel was erected in 1608 by Captain Thierry the Younger, Lord of the Baaillerie.
The façade has a cartouche in his memory. To read, to the right of the door, on the wall, an inscription in old French: "This chapel is erected and founded by the means of Captain Thiry Lejeune, lord of the Baillerie, who by invocation of Notre-Dame de Hault having escaped several perils of death in the war the space of 30 years of vows and piety dedicates to him and consecrates the present, 1608 ».
