The building was protected in 2001 and now serves as a tourist office and visitor center with temporary exhibitions.
This former post building was constructed in 1926 in a sober eclectic style according to a design by architect M. de la Croix. It is notable for its elevated ground floor: above street level, the basement openings are visible. On the rounded balcony of the corner section, the post horn is still present.
The inscriptions at the public and service entrance, as well as the presence of a clock and mailboxes, still reveal the old purpose of this building. On the ground floor, there was the post office, and the postmaster lived above his work on the first floor.
