Seven years after the destruction of the 'seven tower castle' in 1792, Marie-Charlotte Van de Woestijne, lady of Roborst, had a classical country house built on the estate modeled after 'La Bagatelle' from the Bois de Boulogne. The white marble Corinthian columns in the hall come from the abbey of Ename (Audenarde).
The estate is not open to the public.
