Protected as a monument by the Royal Decree of April 19, 1955. Located to the southeast of the village center. The doubly moated "goed Ter Kruisen," consisting of an upper and lower court, was an allodial estate. The oldest known owner in the 16th century was Reynier de Sallaert. After the death of his son Jan de Sallaert, the estate came into the hands of the de Bavière family through the marriage of his daughter to Jacob de Bavière, clerk of the council of Flanders. It was largely rebuilt in the first quarter of the 17th century by Arnout Hauweel after destruction during the religious troubles. From 1635 it was owned by the Ysebrant family. In 1751, it was sold to the noble Maelcamp family, now still owned by Baron Maelcamp d'Opstaele.
