Description

The Moervaartmeersen (Sinaai) are located as a narrow strip of an average of 200 m wide and a km long along the Moervaart, from the Keizershof to the border with Daknam. The area consists of moist hay meadows (= lakes) and some bushes. These groves used to be planted to house weekend houses or more recently for hunting. The hay meadows are not fertilized and mowed twice a year, so that in the spring these grasslands are full of flowers.
