Doorslaar is a hamlet located in the former Belgian municipality of Eksaarde, and since the municipal mergers in 1977, it has belonged to Lokeren. Doorslaar became an independent parish in 1857. Doorslaar is situated in the west of the sub-municipality of Eksaarde, and in the northwest of the city of Lokeren, along Doorslaarstraat, Doorslaardorp, and Doorndonkeindeken.
