The medieval ferry 'de Vliegende Geit' was discontinued in 1975 due to insufficient use. Due to the increase in Scheldt tourism, the ferry was reintroduced in May 2007. Unlike the other ferries you encounter during this trip, this ferry operates only during the tourist season.
