The Arteveldetoren is a skyscraper in the Belgian city of Ghent. At 118.5 metres, the tower is the tallest building in Ghent and the tallest skyscraper in the Flemish Region. It is KBC's regional headquarters. The building was officially inaugurated on April 20, 2012.
The project was given the temporary name MG-Tower. The letters represent the initials of the names of the developer's two children, Margaux and Guillaume. In December 2010, the tower was given its final name, KBC Arteveldetoren. KBC Bank forms the first part of the name, while Jacob van Artevelde, who comes from Ghent, forms the second part.
