Description

Vaartdijk Zuid no. 50. So-called "TEMPLAR FARM" cf. nameplate. Historic farm indicated on Ferrarris map (1770-1778), located on mound with ramparts to the west. Farm with loose, brick components around a partly grazed yard; northwest paved yard driveway. Remains of orchard to the north. To the north-west, heavily adapted whitewashed farmhouse with old core from the 18th century consisting of a left stable part and a living area with a two-bay room on the right under interrupted gable roof (Flemish tiles); roofs. Recent right-angled extension. To the east, 19th-century cross barn with two-tiered wagon house under gable roof (ridge parallel to farmhouse, Flemish tiles).
