Remarkable is the remarkably rectilinear structure in the distribution of the arable land located between the Postweg on the one hand and the Lenniksebaan on the other. In this area, that is. According to insiders, this would indicate a historically very early occupation of these lands. Along the fertile banks of the small watercourse here in the valley, the first inhabitants of this area are said to have settled. From the valley, the surrounding, higher lands were mined and made fertile.
