On the left, you see a young forest. Around the Pinnenkenswijer, some forest areas have been cleared to create a larger open space around the pond. To compensate for the lost forest, among other things, a cornfield was purchased here, which is now spontaneously reforesting. You can thus follow the development of a varied forest composition.
For wheelchair users, a wheelchair path has been established in Gerhagen on a smoothly accessible narrow road through the forest. It is a short route to also allow less mobile users to enjoy.
