Just in front of the farm with black redstart as an annual summer guest, the Galooie brook rises with typical plants such as the white watercress and pennywort. From here you have a beautiful view of the church of Loker. The St. Peter's Church of Loker, a three-aisled brick hall church with a massive western tower, was built in the 15th century. This late Gothic church burned down in 1794 and was rebuilt at the beginning of the 19th century. During the First World War, St. Peter's Church was largely destroyed. For the reconstruction, the Brussels architect Albert Dumont was called upon, who opted for a faithful reconstruction of the pre-war situation. Only the massive brick western tower was protected as a monument. The north and south flanks of the tower are decorated with mason's marks.
