Remarkable entrance of the farm.
The large farm "Ten Broecke" is a site with moat and former property of the eponymous lordship, which dates back at least to the third quarter of the 16th century, historically significant as a witness to the rural settlement history in the region. Explicit material remains of this historical origin include the mound and old vaulted cellars on which the core of the current residence was established in 1729, the access gate at the height of the old entrance, the moat formed by the section of the Molenbeek with its two brick bridges, and the adjacent old storage pond. Across the street is the watermill of Hof "Goet ten Broecke", Kapoenstraat 18 in Zulzeke-Kluisbergen. The brick watermill house dates from 1870.
