Saint Hubert's Church

To the left of the Sint Hubertuskerk of Elewijt in the Victor Servranckxstraat starts the Natuur- rijk Elewijt walk.

In the neo-Gothic building (dedication 1847), the original Romanesque choir tower was integrated into the current west façade.
Built-in square west tower of sandstone, crowned with a constricted needle spire and ascending to the 12th century. The west façade has one, the other facades with two round-arched gallows, which frame deeper round-arch windows (possibly initially with a partial column). Clear traces of two successive roof slopes of the formerly single-aisled nave, above the present western entrance; the latter mentioned in a round arch frame of bluestone (18th century). For the rest, the building was constructed of brick masonry on a sandstone substructure.
Mobilair. Painted shutters of two Renaissance triptychs, of the Blessed Virgin and Saint Hubert (late 16th century). Baroque statues from the 18th century. Furniture from the 18th century, in Louis XV style, including confessionals, church master pews, pulpit, porch and organ.
