Did you know that there is a place of pilgrimage especially for cyclists? Curious to which cave cycling heroes such as Eddy Merckx, Fabian Cancellara, Niels Albert and Philippe Gilbert donated their jerseys? Here is the place: the Cave of Our Lady of the Cyclists. Around this, a unique fact arose for Belgium: the annual blessing of cyclists. Many cyclists donated a jersey to the chapel. In the meantime, the church has grown into a true museum with more than 100 jerseys by Eddy Merckx, Fabian Cancellara, Francesco Moser, Johan Museeuw, Tony Martin, Hennie Kuiper, Niels Albert and Philippe Gilbert, among others. The cave is unique in Belgium.
