‘Het Lijsternest’ is housed in the lovely house where Flemish writer Stijn Streuvels lived from 1905 to his death in 1969. At the museum you can experience the authentic homely atmosphere in which the writer lived and worked. In the living and workroom the original furniture has been preserved. In the study you can take a look at the impressive library. NOTE: due to renovation works, the museum is closed for an indefinite period of time!
