Riverwoods Channel Club

The RiverWoods Channel-Club is the new addition to the Zoute. This base has berths for about 70 boats. Members in possession of a catamaran or surfboard can come here to rent a berth with the necessary services.
These services consist of taking the boats to and from the water, the necessary trailers and vehicles (Hummer H1, Bigfoot 6x6) are provided, the beach club has a cozy clubhouse with bar, changing rooms with hot shower, toilets, containers for storing rescue equipment and others.

"Need a good dose of adrenaline? Do you like a good dose of excitement? Then the Belgian Kitesurf School is definitely something for you! Kitesurfing has been on the rise in Belgium for almost 6 years and has radically changed the image of water sliding! After all, the combination of kite flying and surfing allows the surfer to go a lot faster and also allows jumps of up to 15 meters and more...
It looks rather wild, but the principle is actually very simple. A large kite serves as a kind of "engine". You can compare it to the sail of a windsurfing board. One small difference, however, the kite surfing sail is located at a height of about thirty meters. In combination with an adapted surfboard on your feet, just about anything is possible! And you don't even have to go to some exotic place! After all, you can kitesurf in Belgium in the demarcated zones on the beaches of Ostend, Knokke-Duinbergen, Knokke-Zoute and Westende."

Sports offer

•Sailing: catamaran, youth cat
•Surfing: wind, fun and wave surfing, kite surfing, body and skimboard.
•Starting this season we will start with a real kite club.
•Paddling: surf kayak wave witch
•RIBs: water ski, wakeboard,
•Beach: beach volley, rugby, frisbee
Our own rescue boats and beachmasters are responsible for safety and guidance.

•American Clubhouse with members bar and large (lounge) sun terrace.
•Unique electronic payment system for members (TAG transmitter)
