In the restored barn of the Oostmolensite, not only is the documentation center of the local historical society housed, but also an attractive museum dedicated to two Gistel Flandriens. A fascinating journey awaits you through the cycling achievements of Sylveer Maes (Tour winner in 1936 and 1939) and the 'Lion of Flanders' Johan Museeuw. With the support of Eddy and Johan Museeuw and Annie Maes, a valuable permanent collection has been assembled. Photo and visual materials and typical collectible items highlight the achievements of both riders.
