Description

The tide causes the movement of a huge body of water in the river twice a day. The strong currents transport large amounts of sand and silt. In some places, such as here, silting occurs, a mudflat is formed. Elsewhere, the river is further sanded out. The piece of silt floods at every high tide, at low tide you will find the mallard, the mountain duck and the teal in search of their favorite food. After all, the mudflats are teeming with bottom animals.
